The 2017 State of the City address will be held at the Police Training Academy. For months community groups have been calling for change. City leadership knows what we want, now we are going to march and pray that they decide to act. March with us as we pray that Mayor Ginther and public officials of Columbus hear the cries of our community for real investments and real changes.
We believe that the City of Columbus has everything we need to create a healthy and beloved community that is safe for all of its citizens, but we must evolve from aggressive tough-on-crime policing that targets low income people and African-American communities to an approach that values evidence based solutions driven by the community itself. Lets join together and make Columbus a true "Sanctuary City" for all of its residents. If possible, let others know you're going by sharing on Facebook
